Quickbooks says there is a program preventing quickbooks to open – If for some reason, you or your team get a message when opening quickbooks that says, “Quickbooks cannot open as there is another program running preventing this from happening” (or something to that affect”
Solution – As an Admin, you an Exit out of the Nexus program in the system tray of the server, Right Lick and Exit. To test you repaired the issue, then logon to Quickbooks on the server.
If you need to call Fishbowl Hosted Support Option 4, and you will request that they logon to the Fishbowl server and have them exit Nexus and then you should be able to connect.
Note: When you exit the nexus program, do not be afraid as it will come back and show up in the system tray again.
