Not bad, just have to remember to get a juice before I get hungry or start crashing.
Good energy. I am do the Mean Green Juice reboot fast…

• • 4 Kale leaves (juice the whole thing)
    1 small cucumber (always remove skin on cucumbers)
    2 celery stalks
    2 green apples big
    1/2 lemon (cut rind off leaving a little white pith)
    1 pear

    now take this recipe and change out things to your liking…that pear can be replaced by a red apple, grapes, berries, tomato ,etc
    the Kale can be replaced by Spinach or both or add parsley or cilantro or chard leaves
    the celery can be replaced by carrots, etc
    but the above drink is my FAVORITE!!
    also you can add a piece of ginger if you like it spicy

    Is there protein in my drink? -Yes, it has 6-12 grams of protein – Kale and Spinach are sources of protein, so do not leave them out.

Where to Shop for Food?

- Kale is the item that will be the most important you shop for.

General Grocery store will have Kale, but look on the side shelves where they stash the fresh Kale.

Look at the Store Chain called Sprouts, they have pretty good prices and excellent quality and freshness.

Look at to your local grower outlet if you have one and slowly you might find better prices. Find out when their delivery dates are.

You can buy bags of apples for juicing, break it up and get green apples and large apples, mix it up.

I do not get caught up on organic food. You can if you want but I just am not on board with paying 25% more for the word organic.

Day 6 – Smooth day

Having no troubles with others eating, I look forward to my Juicing. I keep in mind that my end game is a healthier me.

Day 7 – Can’t find 8LBS. !

Truly, I wanted a single slice of Pizza and a small glass of beer. Really? Hey everyone is lying if they are not thinking about their favorite hi-carb food and a beverage. I only know that I can eat things like that in a very very small quantity. Snacking after 8PM is what will put the LBS. on, but then again, I had some weight, but that was not my total goal.

Day 9 – Lost 9 Lbs – Had a Challenge, How to Effectively Juice in under 3 minutes – How to Clean a Juicer in under 3 minutes

Really, it was a tough day, not for Juicing but for understanding my body and what it needs. I left the house at 9:30AM with a full 8-10 oz of juice thinking I was good for the day or at least till noon or 1pm.

At 2PM we were out in the park feeding the homeless and I felt faint, dizzy. I realized I was crashing. I went for a bottle of water realizing I needed nutrients. This is very rare reaction with me so I say be very careful and have food backup if your not going to be in an area of Juice. I took a bite of Carrot cake and that turned me around in about 10 minutes.

It took longer than usual because I had waited through crashing and had gone past the pre-crash point and took more time to come back. So be careful and listen to your body. If you have ANY health issues, you can juice, but don’t juice fast without a doctor at least knowing what your doing.

I am still Juicing and I am mixing it up. It is all about watching what you eat and just generally avoiding regular snaking with bread and other items.

This is the $64,000 question. The call is to is to find out what current PC applications  one uses for business and personal.

Mac is making it easier for both home and in business. One cannot convert a PC guy to Mac unless he or she is open-minded. Most of the PC  vs Mac mantra is the PC person says that Mac’s are more expensive and software is not as prevalent for the business needs. This is kinda true and getting less and less of an issue. Most want Outlook, Word, and the ability to login securely.

There is no one definitive answer, it comes down to personal preference and lifestyle. I will address the high cost issue of the Mac in defense. Have you ever seen a PC go 5 years without  a crash or meltdown that was used by a businessman? Probably not. Hence, the value of having a relatively trouble free Mac for that length of time has intrinsic and time value to that person.  Call it insurance or piece of mind computing.

If your a PC person and use Outlook, Word, coupled with a few other office type programs, you will be fine with a Mac. In fact it seems like MS Office and Outlook runs pretty nice on a mac. If it crashes, you can kill the program only without a reboot, one nice feature. Try a Mac and keep your PC, run them in parallel for a few months. Don’t go cold turkey if you can afford it.

I use a Macbook pro with VM Ware which is a program that runs in the background and allows you to run Windows in the background on my Mac. It is very nice. VM Ware or Paralles are resource hogs, so be careful and turn them completely off if you are using Mac for heavy work like Photoshop, Final Cut or media processing.

You must have at least a 500GB harddrive and about 8-10GB of Ram. You can run windows XP or 7 in the background and tell VMware how much Ram you want to dedicate to Windows, so it does not hog it. I find 3GB ram is good leaving around 5GB for my Mac.

The windows mac solutions should be supported by someone. I hear that there are some guys in Costa Mesa, California called “The Mac Guys”. You may want to have Apple Care from Mac so you can talk to them about your Mac related support and then consult the PC person for your PC or Windows support needs. It is like having two computers.
Windows will be always be Windows so you will need a good PC consultant to help you support that if he does want to cross the Mac bridge. We are all faced with this integration now and more and more people are looking for a way out of windows if they do not need it. Windows 7 is a becoming a more stable Operating System, or OS. SalesForce and GotoassitExpress, are the only reasons I have Windows running now, and when they get with the program, I probably will not have it anymore. I help selectively people with their PC’s that cannot afford to get them fixed or they are just desperate and have no trustworthy direction to turn.

There is a time and a place for everything and well, if you can avoid PC, I suggest you see if it works for you.

I have a real Beef with Salesforce. Today I was pissed and wasted several hours on something that should have been addressed long ago. I look over the forums and they are all the same. Salesforce refuses to recognize Firefox, Chrome, and Windows 7.

I come from a solid PC world and several years ago I switched to Mac, but still had to run Windows in the background using VMware, and no problems.

I use windows ONLY because Sales Force  is still after 3 years, has their code tied to the Internet Explorer umbilical cord. Yeah, all the other companies that would not run on the Mac platform have evolved and I know only use Windows for SalesForce only.

Salesforce obviously has refused to address this every growing Mac world, and make the bridge so you can perform form and mail merges with  other than Internet Explorer .

Having run Windows 7 on the side and finally realizing it’s stability, today I decided I switch my main XP to Windows 7 not thinking about the problem they had with mail merging which was almost a year ago with form mail merging and windows 7.

The mail merge in windows 7 still does not work and will not recognize the files to perform this…. really? a few years later?

Salesforce Are you listening? I do not want to hear anything more from Sales Force about how cool their software and how many user apps they have until they fix the windows 7 and Mac merge issues.

When do you use the word …Really? This is a real good time. …Really Salesforce?

iPhonetics or iPhonics or for short iPhon are now officially a word that can be use in place of “I did not mean to text that, my phone auto corrected it. iPhonetics is a my new word to describe the iPhone auto correction misspelling feature.

I am the first to come up with this name and I am claiming it. Please enter some of the classic ways your iPhone auto corrected your text message and changed the entire meaning.

Today and everyday you come in contact with a Veteran, stop them and thank them for our Freedom.

So is your laptop computer slow to reboot when you open the lid and you have to do a cold reboot or complete restart?

Closing the lid is ok to do but make sure you perform a restart of your laptop at least 2-3 times a week. I have some inside info from a Mac tech that says that your cache and cookies file can become corrupt and then your computer will act like it is 10 years old.
If you have slowing and program closing or opening performances, then you can Perform the following steps which WILL NOT hurt your computer, and then watch it get faster over the next few days.

Your going to remove and delete the following files. You need to find your Home and your Library directory.

If you cannot find Home button, you will in your Finder and select the Go selection and Home will be there.
To find the Library you can only see it in the Go directory if you press the alt or option button while in that Go Selection. Pretty cool yeah.

STOP – Before you start, you should backup your computer just in case you have some unforeseen situation.
I have done this to several computers and it works every time. Take your time and make sure you are in the directory in each step. These files are going to rebuild themselves over the next few days when you start using your computer and will get faster and faster over time.

1. Go to Computer > Machintosh HD > System > Library > Caches
Delete all the files in this directory but DO NOT delete the Caches folder itself.

2. Go to Computer > Machintosh HD > Library > Caches (delete folder
You may delete the entire Cashes folder

3. Go to Home > Library > Caches (delete folder)
You may delete the entire Cashes folder

4. Go to Home > Library > Cookies (delete folder)
You may delete the entire Cashes folder
